SWB indicator stalk

Hi all, My '68 SWB 911T has a slightly knackered indicator stalk - doesn't always move at all well between positions, and I really ought to get it fixed for the MOT. I'm struggling to get one from any of the usual people, so just wondered if anyone knew of one that was available please? My car is RH...

Re: Naughty, naughty VW software!

Is anyone really surprised? Get into any VAG car and press the trip computer button that reveals recent average fuel consumption. Compare it with the brochure and you'll maybe find its getting 40mpg (if you are lucky) but the sales blurb said 60mpg or more. So why would anyone believe the emissions...

Looks brilliant!!! And this is why I only let PRS do the work on my A. One day I'll get mine in for the loooong list of jobs I want seeing to. :)

Re: Go Pro ideas

I have the Hero 3 black edition, not the cheapest option but I got it from a guy at work and negotiated a good deal. I have the LCD screen which makes it easier to see what you are filming, I also have the Go-pro suction cup which does exactly what it says on the tin ! The LCD screen eats through t...

Go Pro ideas

Hi all - I'm off to Le Mans next month in the 68T and would like to capture some of the drive on a GoPro (or similar). Does anyone have any views on best models etc. please? I doubt I need all the bells and whistles as I just want to get some decent in car filming and a sensible way to mount it. Man...

Re: CLASSIC 911 ROAD TESTS

Not sure where you're getting the more reliable thing from .... Never heard that and no reason why either The early T s were used as base cars to build from , reportedly as they were the lightest ( swb, both were on carbs for example) Hi James - it may have been in Paul Frere's book, not sure now. ...

Re: 356 International Meeting Belgium 14-17 May 2015

Fair point Neil re being in LHD country! I think there were a couple of people who were well established in the 356 register who were a bit funny about LHD/ non mint cars. Probably all blown over now, but it was part of the reason I lapsed my membership a few years back. Maybe I should re-join and g...
