thanks! I am well aware of this , but at this stage I would primarily be interested if the performance is about the same between these too!

´71 911T - 14" or 15" Cinturato CN36s?

My ´71T came factory equipped with 14" x 5.5" Fuchs "comfort" wheels, which I am currently running, being shod with 185 x 14" Vredestein Sprint Classics. Since I also have set of 15" x 6" Fuchs deep sixes ready for installation, I asked myself the following: Since ...

´84 Fuchs 16 x 7" wheel - damage assessment

2.JPG 1.JPG Just received a set of Fuchs wheels for my MY83 SC and on one of the rims one stud hole (the four others are fine) is damaged as can be seen on the photos below. The inner side of the hole looks fine. - Is this something to be worried about or not too relevant (for normal street use)? -...

Fuchs 16" Wheelset - 6" front, 7" rear - original condition

I am looking for a complete set of 16" Fuchs wheels with 6" in the front (part number 911.361.020 43) and 7" in the rear (part number 911.361.020 44) with black centers and anodized lips. Must be in good original condition, never refurbished - ideally with matching date codes (i.e. wi...

Re: Deep 6" Fuchs

Hi Ralph,

I'd have a set of four 15 x 6" deep six with matching date (7/70 as far as I recall), nice optical condition and structurally w/o fault (had them spun up by my P mechanic back in July, all well within factory spec) for sale.

let me know

thx

Stefan

vintage, used Pirelli Cinturato 185/70 15" of any value?

I just bought a set of Fuchs wheels and they came with original Pirelli CN36 installed, DOT no. is 517 on three of them, 507 on one of them, so I assume 50th and 51st week of 1977? As I will put on new tires I wondered whether these might be interesting for someone to put them on for display/museum ...

Wanted: 380mm VDM leather steering wheel (serial no. 914...)

I am looking for an original, leather covered steering with a 380 mm diameter for my ´71 911T, hence – as far as I could find out – a wheel with either serial no. 914 347 805 10 or 914 347 088 10. Wheel must be all original (no re-wrap, no re-stitch, no repaint), wheel may show some patina, even min...

WTB: MY 1970 911S engine (2.2l)

Dear all! I am looking for a MY 1970 2.2 'S'-engine (hence no. 6300001 to 6302480) in original, preferably never opened condition with all original components (in particular MFI, stacks, throttle bodies, etc.) - heat exchangers or engine tin however are not necessarily a must. Engine must turn over ...

Re: If from 84 to 85 mm bore on 2.2S engine MFI mods require

Dave, many thanks! I am well aware that expanding the bore alone will (unfortunately ;-)) not bring me anywhere near a genuine 911/20 spec (906 cams, twin-plugging, etc.) - I just wanted to know that in case the original cylinders can be kept in the rebuild (however would have to be honed by a bit) ...

If from 84 to 85 mm bore on 2.2S engine MFI mods required?

I´m contemplating of putting an original spec 2.2S engine in my ´71 911T and wondered if in case I had the cylinders bored out to 85 mm (to achieve the displacement of a 911/20 2.3ST engine, hence going from 2.195 cc to 2.247 cc) the MFI pump (space cams, etc.) needed to be modified to ensure proper...

Re: ´83 911SC ignition cable on ´71 911T?

sorry, it should read

"- when I start the engine and then pull the plugs of the RIGHT cylinder bank (i.e. cylinders 4-5-6) they are wet"

thanks!
