That's so stupid decision! Just think how this will affect to team orders! There will most certainly be the #1 and the supporting driver on the top teams! Even less competitors for championship...

Is there any 'right' color code if one would want to paint the fan like it originally looked like?

I was planning on getting extra pair of A-arms as there's some for sale locally. There's '66 and '77 arms available. I tried to check the parts catalogue, and it seems that pre '68 are not correct to my '69. Are '77 arms usable without other modifications? I would also like to add sway bars, as my c...

Slow but steady progress. Cleaned up the front hubs a bit, not concours or anything, but they where really dirty in the beginning. Then I finally got the wheels from powder coater, it took almost 6 months. And yesterday I got discs from machinist. Better hurry to the garage to get them mounted back ...

I found the homologation document 5139 on the net. Would be interested in papers 204, 502 and 3003 too.

Period (racing) accessories for 912

I'm looking for pictures, parts catalogues etc. with 912 period accessories. Is there a book about this or does someone have original part gatalogues? How about FIA homologation documents?

I'm mainly interested in engine tuning components, specially exhaust.

Are '69 calipers supposed to have those spacer bits? The other front caliper is with out spacers. But the rears have them. In the parts book offered on the Porsche pages I didn't see spacers on front or rear calipers.

I see. Is the toothing on the flywheel changeable? I don't have my flywheel home right now, but I remember I read some where it would be? Atleast industial engine flywheel has the teething on the side (radially), would that be usable by changing the toothing?

I don't quite follow, excuse me being from abroad. Let's say the weight is not taken into consideration at all. If that's what you met fetuhoe. My problem is that my own flywheel(and crank) might be beyond repair, and I'm considering options to replace them. I do have industrial engine crank (no cou...

What is the difference between 912 and 356 flywheels?

Would for example this 356 flywheel work on '69 912 engine with 901 gearbox, without forementioned teething problems?

Is there somewhere pictures of 912 exhaust cut open? 911 pictures I think I saw on some link here on DDK, but what about 356/912 exhaust? I'd need those as I'm planning on making one myself, thanks. And I don't want to cut open the old exhaust just yet.

Yesterday I lighly blasted and wirebrushed the calipers and some other brakeparts after acid dip. They turned out pretty well, so I'm planning on cad plate them instead of painting. But I found a couple of problems, both front calipers seems to be for right side. The halves that have the pipe tread ...

I used 15l water and about 8dl acid making it about 5% solution. I read that too strong solution doesn't work that well, OK being 3-5%.
