Anyone got elephant racing bronze suspension bushes fitted to their car?

I could do with replacing the rear spring arm bushes on my 2.4 & was wondering wether to fit these or stock original ones?

See my post. They were incredibly well. But I rebuilt all of the suspension.

Did you do the rear mono balls from ER as well as the spring plates bush's or just stock on the swing arms?

I have a full set waiting to be fitted but getting mixed views on wether the mono balls are a bit harsh for a streat car.

I was advised to stay away from the monoball for a street application. Advise was this is a race only application.

I just have the poly bronze front and rear and they work fine. Absorb bumps far better than my old Merc.

I've got a set of A-arm polybronzes in the cupboard waiting to be fitted when the polybushes I've got at the moment start deteriorating, lovely bit of kit.

if using the polybronzes , is it advisable to stick with stock rubber on the swing arms or go with polyurethane / super pro ones ?

Ive just fitted polybronze bushes and ive got the ER monballs for on the swing arms, The early monoballs were only recomended for racing as they had wear issues from water and dirt ingress so needed regular servicing, however they claim to have sorted this issue with the addition of weather seals. Some people say they are too hard for road use some say there not, either way I carnt see them being any stiffer than the poly ones, im sure ill find out soon enough. If your not in a hurry ill let you know how I get on with mine or better still take you for a spin in it as your not that far from me.

Also they dont work out that much more expensive than the OE swing arm bush's

I think initially I won't replace the rear a-arm bushes on my car ( although the polybronzes are being fitted to the spring plates & front a-arms ) & see how it goes.

I would be very interested for a ride in your car with the monoballs fitted
