advice on Fuchs wheels

Post by nudge »

i'm thinking of selling the 15" Fuchs wheels on my 912 & putting the old steel/chrome hubcaps back on to make it more original.
is this a worthwhile idea & what sort of money do Fuchs make?
any help gratefully received.

Um, if those are 4.5"s then they're worth a bit - I'll give you £100?

Seriously - a good set of original 4.5"s - PROPERLY detailed with the rough anodising on the inner of the rim and polished on the face, dates matching....£1,500 - £2,000 if they're in mint nick?

Not sure what the wheels are worth but I really love 912's with the steel wheels and chrome centre...it just looks SO RIGHT 8) 8) 8)

In my opinion, they look good on early 911's too :-)

Fuchs are worth for original condition wheels between £400 - £650 for fully detailed and restored late wheels 15 x6's.

Now the early wheels are worth more, and the narrower wheels such as 4,5's are worth a heck of alot with starting prices around £600 a pair.

Good luck...

From that very small picture they look like flat 6" Fuchs. Worth about £125 each. An angled shot in higher resolution would make them easier to identify.
