More electrical confusion....

Post by tomgoodwin3 »

Ok, I'm slowly realising that my car is missing the odd electrical item...

What I would like to do is check off with somebody all the switches that should exist on a '74 model 914 and what exactly those switches do.

I was hoping I could meet up with someone at Stanford Hall to have a chat and look around their car to check a few things.

Any volunteers?

One immediate question....is the headlight switch used to turn on the side/parking lights as well??

As you can guess it's been a long time since I drove my car :-)

Cheers,

Tom

Tom

Happy to run through my switches with you at Stanford Hall, and yes, the light switch has two positions - pull once for side and again for headlights. It also has a rheostat for dash light adjustment.

See you on Sunday.
