You know that bit on the gearbox...

That bit on the back end of a tail shifter, where ball type thing joins a cradle type thing then goes into the 'box just behind the silencer.
Any one know where i can get a new one?

I need more than three gears you see...

I could probably take a box apart for one..I assume its the cross shaft going into the box you need?

Hello, thanks for replying. I'm not sure what its called, but its at right angles to the car and basically is at the back of the box,it looks like half is in and half is outside the box, and if i undid four bolts on a flat plate it could be removed. I doubt its that easy though.

It looks like it might be called the cross shaft, yes.

Can you give me a price? Or maybe on the whole thing in case i need something else?
