The 'Maverick' Classic Porsche Forum and Classic Porsche Club for Porsche 356, Aircooled Porsche 911, Porsche 912, Porsche 914 & Porsche Replicas. 'We join for the cars but stay for the people'
Remarkably few cool spots on the journey down, and it's probably 50:50 on whether or not you consider a new Jaaaag test mule to be cool.
Anyway, Ninove. Bigger than it's been for years, lots of interesting stuff, and definitely more 'wrong' stickers than in previous years. I tried to take more interesting pictures, but it was really busy so I failed.
Thank you! Certainly feels like it's back to pre-Covid strength. It took us about four hours to get around everything, and I suspect we missed lots as there were already folk leaving when we rocked up in Ninove around midday. We got back home in the dark after what felt like a really long day. I was a useless sack of potatoes for most of yesterday.
I was also there, I went in my Ravenna Green 914 2.0, cruised there with three other 914s. Around 800 air cooled VW and Porsches parked up around the centre of Ninove is a wonderful sight.
Saturday at the 'Slaghmuylder Brewery' in Ninove, is also part of the event, it is nice way to spend and afternoon with around 100 air cooled old VW and a handful of old Porsches parked around the Brewery have a few jars of Slag Larger and WitKap brews.
