2.7/8 engine STILL AVAILABLE

I have a complete dismantled 2.4 based engine. It’s a 72 2.4 E crankcase which has been cleaned and checked for main bearing journal alignment. It has had the oil bypass mod carried out, the barrel sockets have been machined to accept 2.7 90mm barrels and time serts installed for the studs. Included are a set of Neil Bainbridge RSR style through bolts with seals, cases machined to suit.
Included are a set of 90mm barrels which I had intended to have bored and recoated to accept 92mm pistons to make it a 2.8.
The crank is STD/STD and in very good condition with a set of Carillo rods. There is a set of new genuine bearings to suit. Included is a good used 4 rib oil pump with shaft and intermediate gear.
The heads ,currently set up for carbs ,have been media blasted and have been ported to 36mm , new valves and guides. The seats have been cut and lapped. A full set of valve springs, pedestals ,caps, collets, shims, rockers, shafts etc. Cam carriers have been cleaned and include aluminium top and turbo type lower covers. There is a choice of either E or S cams and a set of oil pressure fed chain tensioners with aluminium or magnesium boxes and covers.
There is an air shroud with fan and housing, an alternator with pulleys etc. A full set of 911 tinware an engine oil cooler and a distributor . A flywheel and a good used clutch.
I have the 'E' plastic injection stacks and butterfly housings complete which you can have if you would rather go the MFI route . I don't have a pump but I do know of one which could be purchased at extra cost.
Essentially a complete engine less pistons and the items you would normally change during a rebuild, chains , ramps , bearings , gaskets etc. All cleaned and boxed in sturdy Eurocrates with lids.
