Back in 2016 my Porsche hobby got a little out of hand and became the business that is today Stuttgart Classica Ltd. We build bespoke 911's, undertake a large variety of engine and gearbox rebuild work, normally with some sort of fruity twist. We develop loads of our own parts in house and can ship anywhere in the world. Back in 2022 we made the leap to open a USA office, which solely distributes to the USA, Canada and Mexico. Established in 1999 by commercial pilot and classic Porsche enthusiast Max Levell, Revival has been at the forefront of 912 servicing & sales since its inception.

Sparked by the purchase of his first 912 in 1997, a general interest in all things classic Porsche rapidly became a specialist interest in all things 912 – Two wings made may for four wheels, pressed steel of course, and the rest as they say is history.

Vintage Tyre Expert

...Managing Director Dougal Cawley since 1999. Dougal's history with vintage and classic cars is well established; Having been influenced by his family as a child he grew up to develop his own love for many vintage cars with a strong fetish for the Cortina MkV. Having joined the VSCC Dougal has, with his family, competed in trials in his 1928 Model A Fords as well as sprints and races in 1921 GN Ford 'Piglet'. Since running Longstone classic Tyres, Dougal's knowledge of the vintage tyre has become comprehensive and practically nerd-like; these days he is unable to walk past a vintage or classic without checking out its boots! He constantly delves into the history books to find information regarding Original Equipment (OE) tyres and will always endeavour to source the correct vintage tyre for every classic car - even if it means getting one made. Dougal's somewhat unconventional character has been seen championing Longstone vintage Tyres at many classic car shows across the world from Birmingham's NEC Classic car show to Cavalino Cassic, Florida via Retromobile in Paris. It has been known for him to appear in the press and on the television too - such is his passion for the company, selflessly courting air-time to promote correct vintage tyre choice. THE BEGINNING

RENNSPORT CLASSICS LTD was founded in 1986 primarily as a Porsche specialist company serving the market with quality cars and advice, mainly high end road, race and rally cars. Our speciality was the 1973 RS and RSRs.

RECOGNISED AUTHOR ON PORSCHE CARS

The propietor Mark Waring is alife long enthusiast of the marque serving as PCGB Early 911 Register Secretary for 10 years. He is a published author on cars as diverse as the Porsche Formular 1 car, 550 Spyder, numerous early 911s and has produced a valuation and buyers guide on 1973 RSs. His articles have been published in Porsche Christophorus, 911 & Porche World Magazine, Classic Cars, PCGB Magazine and Flat 6 Magazine Internationally incuding China

CONCOURS PREPARATION AND SUCCESS !

Mark has prepared a 911E to a first in class in the National PCGB concours and has restored and detailed many cars including one of the best Rhd 2.7 RS Tourings in the UK, a Kremer 2.8 RSR and a Belgium Rally Championship winning 2.7 RS Sport "Lightweight". He has just completed the restoration of his own private car "The most successful 2.7 Carrera RS of all time" one of the 17 Rhd "Lightweight" RS cars.

INSPECTIONS

Qualified by years of experience restoring and detailing early classic Porsches Mark's expertise in the marque is more in demand than it has ever been, especially since the 73 RS has become increasingly more valuable. Last year he travelled the world to inspect 11 RS's and 7 this year of which 10 were in his opinion "not the original vehicle". He has managed to find and supply hundreds of correct cars for delighted clients many of whom remain lifelong friends.

RACING PREPARATION AND RACING EXPERIENCE

Mark has driven over 500,000 miles in early 911s travelling in countries as far a field as Sciliy, the Swiss Alps, Norway, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Southern France, Los Angeles and California USA. He has also raced a 1973 911E, a 1973 911T, a 1980 911SC in Club racing and raced a 1968 911 T/R with a twin plug 906 engine to 4th in class and 24th overall in the Tour de France. In 2011 he restored and drove a 1965 Porsche Formcar "Formula Vee" and achieved first place in it's first two races at the Nurburgring at an event celebrating 45 years of the start the Formula Vee race series. He is currently preparing a 906 and a 911 Rally car.

RENNSPORT CLASSICS - "Werks" cars

27 years ago he started sourcing and developing products for his own enjoyment to lighten and improve cars and hence increase performance. He knew that removing unnecessary weight released the performance potential of any 911 and with a friend in Europe has converted over 80 cars to such a state. It was this business that lead Mark to change the company name to "RENNSPORT CLASSICS" as it embodied the true ethic "less is more".

AUTHORISED WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTOR OF PARTS

RENNSPORT CLASSICS (formerly as World-Wide Classics) were the first to supply in quantity lightweight replacement seats for early Porsche 911s, spearheaded by the "Vitesse recliner" quickly followed by two new seats; the "Sport" and the "Safari Rally". This was the start of the supply of RENNSPORT CLASSICS products and due to their universal design all our seats are now suitable for many other marques too.

Since the inception of the company the range of road, race and rally inspired products has grown steadily and so too has the association with high quality manufacturers and suppliers. Along side specialist parts for the 1973 RS and racing RSR's RENNSPORT CLASSICS source and supply a range of interesting products to enhance any classic Porsche.

The Tech 9 Story.....

Since 1993, Tech 9 have been preparing various race cars in their Liverpool workshop to incredible degrees of success. We had huge triumphs in the early ’90s with the Porsche Cup, a primarily production-based race for which we prepared a number of Porsche models including the 944S2 and Turbo, 968 and 911 models 964 and 993, and we’ve even explored other marques.

In the late nineties, we wanted to break into GT racing – and the pinnacle of this type of racing was the TVR Tuscan Challenge. Cars were a huge 460bhp, weighed 860kg and saw some of the UK’s best drivers competing. 1997 was a year for learning, and then in 1998 we secured our Championship win! From our base in Liverpool, we engineered the car to the front of the grid with dedication and determination, even developing our own suspension dampers and limited-slip differential to give us the edge over the competition.

The turn of the Millenium saw us break into British GT, and our campaigns with Porsche in 993 GT2’s and Marcos gave us a new experience in endurance racing. We netted second place overall in the 2002 Carrera Cup GB with our 996 GT3, but the really good run started in 2003. With backing from our corporate sponsors, we embarked upon an impressive five year run in GT racing, during which we got Championship and class wins in 2003, 2004 and 2005 in British GT before going on to the newly-formed FIA FT3 European Championship in 2006 with our squad of three 997 GT3 Cup machines. As you might guess, we’ve brought plenty of trophies back to Liverpool.

Thanks to decades of hard work, our team can bring a wealth of experience and expertise to each and every job they complete. Our complete Porsche servicing can bring any model up to the level that it should be, we can also complete custom performance tuning, as well as complete engine and gearbox rebuilds, to truly change the way you experience your car.
