Twelve years.
2013:
2025:
Been all over Europe in it, it's emigrated with me, I wasn't going to modify it and then I did. I do all my own work on it now, which makes it worthless to the wrong folk but that's irrelevant as I'm never selling it...

Aaaah! Youngsters all - until Arfor comes along with his 50 year ownership!
We have had our Hillclimb 911 for 40 years, and we competed in it first on 13/14th April 1985 at Werrington Park, near Launceston.
We had it inspected by the garage dog, Grizzly -
I came 2nd in the 1985 ASWMC Championship, and won the 1986 and1987 championships
Started travelling farther afield -
We ran a 2.7RS spec engine in 1985 and 86, then had a wonderful special 3.2 RS engine that we ran until the end of 2023 -
Then on to a trick 3.5 litre engine that we're still learning to drive!
After 40 years it still brings a big smile to my face every time I strap myself in!

I've never owed mine, I paid with a part exchange plus cash.
The real answer is 30 years for my Carrera 3

Not long enough… first time I saw it in July 2019, bought it in the August.
2025….. yeh, it hasn’t come out of the garage this year yet! Been out quite a bit in between though! Haha!
The VW is in the way, engine for which is in the photo! But it’s holiday time so both will be done and on the road in next few weeks
Then I can tidy the garage again too!
