Set of year-matched original 2x Fuchs 7R + 2x Fuchs 6J. The real deal!

Post by swisscheese »

Here I’m offering a set of year-matching 4 original Fuchs wheels: 2x 6Jx15 (901.361.012.06) and 2x 7Jx15 (901.361.012.05) aka 7R wheels of the 911R.

The complete set has been 100% correctly restored by Mr. Gebhardt, arguably currently the best in Europe. De-anodized, cut & sanded, centered & balanced, period-correct re-anodized and painted (and no paint on the inside of the petals, as theoriginal paint-dipped process).

Date stamps are all 1970:
6 (?).70
8 (?).70
1.70
5.70

More photos available for reference.

I’ve had these for 20+ years, but never used. Had them recently restored to this OEM condition.
Original size, no weld-ons, etc. the real deal.

Not sure where we are today with pricing for these, suggesting € 8.600 plus shipping (from The Netherlands), or best offer around this. Worldwide shipping done through Fedex.

Of course, happy to provide more info.

Best,
Tom

It is a shame Mr Gebhardt didn't refinish them before they were anodised with a "frosted" finish to differentiate the outer polished anodised part of the rim from the rest left unpainted. This replicates as close as I have seen possible the original forged dull finish which has been polished too when they were refurbished. Nice set of wheels though.
