Quite a few years ago, I was looking for a 996, and saw one at Specialist Cars of Malton in exactly this colour combo. It looked even worse than in the pictures but was very well priced at the time!

My silver / green 986 is a manual 2.5. I purposely looked for that which a lot of people scoffed at because its "under powered". But I really like the driving experience, its slow yes, but engaging. Also after owning a 993 for a number of years a long time ago, oddly it felt quite similar sitting inside. The only issue I have with it is that I quite often drive with guys who have modern stuff 981's, 991,s etc and they are just so quick in comparison. Leaves you feeling a little inadequate
