This morning we were sent a brilliant quality version of a photograph that has to be one of the best air-cooled Porsche/VW shots of all time, the busy street scene taken at a Porsche 356 meet in Lechtal Strasse, Lech, Austria.

The other legendary photograph of the skier jumping the 356 that many will already know. We have on good authority that it was also taken in Lech, Austria at the same time.

Looking at the first photo in the office we date it to around 1963 But would love to know more information regarding this event, with such a turn out there must be more surviving images out there, it would be great to know/see more about it.

I got curious, so hopped onto Google Streetview. I reckon that photo was taken from one of the upper floors of Hotel Arnberg.

Amazing photos. I would love to see more as well!
