Popular mod!
Might be worth calling Kent Cams to see if they can grind to the same spec as the 964's on new 3 or 4 bearing blanks?

I’ve got a pair of SC cams if you want to get a regrind before you strip your engine

Re: WTB 964 camshafts
Hi Keith,
I have some 964 camshafts in good order. I upgraded to a more aggressive cam to go with my 3.8 high comp pistons and ITB's.
I can get Gary Cook at GDC to look over them to ensure all OK but I am confident that they are fine . As I understand it you have to get the end ground off that drives the power steering pump or similar on one of them.
I am not sure on their value but will found out.
Cheers Martin

Martin,
Thanks for that.
If Gary Cook says they are ok, then they are!

Re: WTB 964 camshafts
Hi Keith,
If you do get hold of a pair of 964 cams, I'd like to borrow them for a few days if possible, just for measurement and to add the results to my database. I've been collecting cam profiles to help with some early 911 engine perfomance calculation tools I've been developing, but I'm missing a 964 dataset at the moment. I'd lke to measure true lobe lift though the full duration of the cam as this raw profile data helps greatly with the calcs.
The cams will be returned clean and unaffected by the measurement process, and from the results I will also be able to give you some pointers as to how these cams will affect your engine performance vs your existing cams or any other cam choice you may be thinking about.
Regards,
Mike.
