There is a lot of money paid for some proper junk. Some of it special but most quite ordinary

I confess - I was there. It was a great experience, the whole 7 day trip. The live sale day was the highlight but for us all of the 22 lots we were interested in went for silly money. There was also an on-line sale of over 300 lots that ran for 48 hours from the end of the first sale.

All of the millionaires, superstars and youtubers had gone home so it us V the rest. We bid light for several early engines but they had been outside for years so we let them go early on. We did win a job lot of bottom ends/Crankcases that had been stored inside and a decent number of cylinder heads. We also bought a pair of '66 coupes that hopefully will make it onto the race track someday.
