Believed to be an original tank from 1972 which came out of my car last week. I have cleaned and flushed it, removed internal rust (long soak / flushes in vinegar and then ball bearings / hoovered to remove all rust particles). Apart from some areas where the original finish is coming away it’s actually in pretty good nick and I’d have no hesitation in saying it could be restored back to VGC or just used as it is.
