Sportomatic gearbox rebuild
The synchros on 2nd and 3rd gears of my 4-speed Sporto gearbox (type 905/00) are getting bad enough to make driving unpleasant so I think time has come for a rebuild.
I'm looking for recomendation of someone who knows these gear boxes well to carry out the work. Any recomendations from personal experience please. Preferably in South East England.
An idea of cost would be helpful too.

Another vote for Mike. Definitely worth the trip I took my 915 box to him from Suffolk.

NineX Motorsport in Maidenhead rebuilt my Sporto box, have only done ~100 miles since completing the car a couple of weeks back but box performs as expected!
Can't give a cost as it was all lumped in with the engine rebuild.
