Steelies in alloy

I have the original 14in fuchs on my 69t which are running in 185/70/14 tires so a little undersized...but still perfectly usable.
Also a little extra width may add some weight to the steering which is very light indeed............maybe a touch too light.
I really like the look of steel wheels and have spotted a UK company that make them in alloy.
For me that's a win win....so before I buy new 14in tires I thought I'd investigate.
I could buy steel repros, probably 30% cheaper, or try and source an original set.....not sure of the cost though.

Does anyone run these, or have any experience with them ?

They're only just arriving from the factory. They've been accepted by the organisers of the 2-litre Cup as being legal for the race series. Jonathan tells me they are lighter than steels and come with TÜV approval. Plans are to include 8s...

I suspect 6 but perhaps even 7s....would need to call and check on those:

'Aluminium version of the classic 15 x 5.5" steel wheel, with all the looks and then some, with the extra dish, in 7", at a fraction of the weight. The trick offset allows for the use on the rear of a post '69 911/912 with up to a 225 section tyre without the need of a spacer.'
