Rear Wiper Yay or Nay
Hello again all, I have a rear wiper kit. Im pondering if it is worth while fitting it. Do people ever use it? Is it effective? or does it just get in the way when working in the engine bay? Also were these std equipment on UK cars?

If you’re running Durant mirrors and intend the use the car in the dark and rain on the motorway a rear wiper will mean you can actually tell what’s behind you and in what lane, but otherwise you can do without.

Nay. My car had it fitted as a factory option. I sourced all the parts but chose not to fit it to the when it was restored. I think the car looks better without.

That's a Yay from me.
But then I do use my car in the wet from time to time...although not during the winter.

Re: Rear Wiper Yay or Nay
Nay from me, it's a modern car thing, not an early 70s classic look, also it ruins the lines on the rear.
Cheers

Re: Rear Wiper Yay or Nay
I was told the other day that mine probably had one fitted when new. Can't pretend that I've ever thought I'd be better off with one.
Mine also did have a sun roof that no longer exists (well - some of it probably does exist under the headlining). Probably too expensive to reverse now!
