Hi All,
Another quick question on windscreen washer hose routing. I have googled pictures and it seems like it goes along the offside (LH from behind) inner wing which would be logical given the position of the bottle. However some of the images show it going the other way. Could someone confirm please.
Looks like the tube is 5mm inner diameter to fit firmly on the 6mm barbs on the pump etc..... unless anyone knows any better?!
Cheers
Roger

Re: Washer hose routing
My '79 has the pipework running along the LHS (as viewed from the driver's seat). I just selected hose to suit the washer jets and t-pieces.

Re: Washer hose routing
Mine is tucked under the LHS wing bolt flange on my 73 - I think thats normal, I haven't seen it done any differently for cars that have the bottle at the front adjacent to the left battery. I think maybe some air-con cars had the bottle in a different location, under the screen, not sure though.

Re: Washer hose routing
There are non return valves just below the washer jets I have known them to stick if so remove and poke with something small and blow through with an air line take care if you use an airline on the jets as you can blow out and lose the small jet from the rubber. Good luck
