Sun-visors on a 72 car

Post by aircooled »

A further question re. restoring a 1972 2.4S please.

I cannot recall what colour the sun-visors were. The headlining is ivory of course but I have seen all ivory sun-visors to match, but also ivory on one side, black on the other.

is there a kind soul out there with a 1972 car who can tell me what is correct?

many thanks

Hello air cooled,

Ivory one side/ black the other, passenger with vanity mirror (and sometimes the drivers side according to some on here, but I’m not convinced).

Of course this is different if it’s a targa which is where you might have got confused. Not many people spell out exactly what they have for sale often just stating the year. Coupe, targa, rhd, lhd, always helps.

Regards
Mike
