Hi Folks
Speedometer is a bit sluggish only starts to work at 1,500rpm. Help duly recieved.

I assume from your name it's on a 912. There's no connection between revs, or electrical supply and speedo operation.
If it works above 1500 rpm in 1st gear, then there can't be much wrong, except maybe a sticky speedo cable.
