Rear LED Brake lights Group Buy
Evening folks,
Following Keith's success with his rear LED bulbs I thought it may be worth organising a group buy for something similar. I've spoken to Horizon and they will do a kit along the lines of six bulb made up of a pair of brake/side lights, CREE indicators and reversing lights.
I need to get the contents of the kit agreed before they will quote, but is this something people would be interested in?
Brake/side https://www.horizonleds.co.uk/exterior- ... -led-bulbs
Indicators https://www.horizonleds.co.uk/cree-leds ... -led-bulbs
Reversing https://www.horizonleds.co.uk/exterior- ... -led-bulbs
They will do a kit using all CREE bulbs but it will be more expensive and from Keith's postings would appear to be overkill.
Thoughts?

The CREE bulbs are needed for the indicators if you're retaining a US-spec all-red lens.
Re: Rear LED Brake lights Group Buy
Do the indicators require a change to a different relay Keith?
Ollie, are you suggesting running led rear indicators and filament fronts? How would that work?
Could be interested myself. Matt

No, they use the stock relay - rate of flash doesn't change with these bulbs.

Has anyone who has fitted these compared the difference in output between rear side and Brake lights?
The last set of LEDs i had fitted, i was told the difference was not the same as standard, so peeps behind couldn't tell when brakes had been applied.
I've swapped back to standard for now.

This is exactly why I took these out of my car. Brighter, yes, but you couldn’t tell when the brake was pressed .corner shop wrote:Has anyone who has fitted these compared the difference in output between rear side and Brake lights?

Yes, and the difference is very obvious.
