Fuchs
Sorry no photos but I've located a set of Fuchs wheels, they are 7 and 9 by16's, 930 I suppose, the rims are fairly good, no chunks out of them with just average rubber. So how much should I offer? Obviously I want them but I don't want to fund the guy's retirement.

Re: Fuchs
Be interested to see what people think, as according to some auction sites you could need to spend around £4,000...
I'll suggest £1,500 / £2,000 requiring refurbishment, up to +/-£2,500 in good condition?

Re: Fuchs
I sold a set this time last year. If I remember, I sold them for £1900. The guy who bought them from me bought them to flip (found out after, he originally gave me the poor mans story that his project was running over budget
). I left a few quid on the table, he has been trying to flip them for the last 12 months for £4k.
They were probably worth about £2200 or so. Problem with fuchs is the refurbishment costs, so if paying more than low £2's they need to be in really nice shape.
The front 7's are easy enough to come by - around £350 each or so. It's the 9's that dont come up that often.

Re: Fuchs
New prices are £726+vat for the 7" and £770+vat for the 9"
So for £3K + vat you get brand new wheels, to refurb those correctly your looking at £1K so £1500 is about all they are worth
Ebay dreamers want more for used stuff than for brand new!

Re: Fuchs
Although the 7's are OK ish, the 9's look like they have done a few extra laps and are a bit scabby so I'll give them the full on refurbishment before I put them up for sale.
