I have had it for just over 2 years but I have 3 other cars including another 928 and its the usual story of not enough time etc.
1978 car, no sunroof, single wing mirror, teledials, no side strips.
Belts done in 2016
Thousands spent by previous owner at GT One.
£1200 spent at Porsche Hatfield by me earlier this year on a service and various other odds and ends. Also had a full paint correction and valet recently.
MOT recently, no advisories
95,000 miles, 9 owners.
All books, keys; tyre inflator most tools
Mechanically excellent, starts; stops, corners like on rails, brakes in a straight line etc.
Magazine featured twice - GT Porsche and Ultimate Porsche.
Faults:
- aircon doesn't work
- small rust bubbles around side repeater
- small area of rust on rear tailgate but not too bad and has not worsened
- cassette player chews tapes but will play an iPod connector
- dash has come away around vents
- some clouding of wind screen at bottom
- tear in pascha on rear seat and at side on drivers squab
- drops a little oil, but nothing too bad.
It is a time capsule and should be left as is and would make a lovely addition to a collection.
£21,995 but open to reasonable offers. Car is in storage near Harpenden.
