Hi all. I'm dropping my 1.7 engine and installing a 3.2. The cars showing 67k miles but i wouldn't expect that to be accurate. The engine has been converted to carb [not by me] is clean and appears to run pretty well so on the assumption that its an obviously leggy but generally sweet engine what do we think i should ask / expect for it? Ive heard that its a popular conversion for VW fans but I've absolutely no idea so a consensus opinion would be appreciated before i start removing and disposing. [I'll do a compression test & video of it starting / running etc prior to removal]
thanks
whats the engine worth??

Re: whats the engine worth??
I sold my carbed 2.0L Type IV engine from mine for £1200. It too ran fine. Probably could have got a little more but I priced it to sell and it did within a few days.
