For those of you that have taken part in any of the tours the Mike organised here in Scotland you will be familiar with the location for this event, Inveraray Castle. They are hoping to make this the event on the Scottish motoring calendar. Already confirmed is a Porsche 917K, Jackie Stewart Tyrrell 001 and the Beast of Turin.

There is also Concours d'Elegance and an auction and of course the Duke will be the patron.

Tickets when on sale on 10th November priced at £40 per adult and are limited to 5000 per day. Seems a high price to pay so let's hope it's a good event.

Event is now CANCELLED ..................no idea as to why plenty of speculation though. I did hear that the organizer praised the commitment from the Porsche owners but not all clubs where so proactive .
