Porsche part: Hose part no 9991800305A

Porsche technical have informed my Local Porsche GB outlet (Aberdeen) That 7mm fuel hose part no 9991800305A will no longer be supplied but instead the same part number will be substituted with 6mm hose as they say it still fits...!

What about the capacity reduction and originality?

Here is the e-mail I received from my dealership:

Hi
Porsche Germany have come back about the hose and they say it was decided to replace 7mm hose to 6mm because it would still fit ?

I am sorry they have made this decision and are not expecting to come out with a 7mm hose in the future.

Cohline 2122 braided fuel hose is available from many outlets - eg:

It's worth doing a search for 'fuel hose' combined with username 'fetuhoe' (Chris Flavell) for comments on currently available ethanol-resistant fuel hoses.
