Looking for help,
I'm rebuilding my 71 911 engine and can't seem to get the correct length bolts
Porsche sell 2 types of big end bolts, but both of them are too long.
Measuring across the flats of the conn rod and cap, the outside length is approx 50mm.
Can anyone offer any information on a different part number to ask for or an alternative source for the parts

Re: Conn Rod bolt lengths
Con-rod bolt part numbers are:
901.103.171.00 ( '70/'71)
914.103.171.00 ('72-on)
Many people use ARP rod bolts rather than Porsche originals when rebuilding their engines - but they are more expensive ...
