Scabby ugly 2cv Charleston.
Galvanised chassis, MOT May 2018, new battery, floors, lower bulkhead, rear tyres. Excellent engine and brakes. Solid arches sills, and belt mounts after extensive welding, rest is ready for improvement. What there is of the interior is saggy and scruffy, the hood has a small tear. 3rd gear a bit noisy, but not worsening. Doesn't like hot starting, needs front tyres and shocks, it is very wallowy, there is rot in the bonnet hinge area, and rust scabs elsewhere.
Despite all this it is great fun, endearing and enjoyable. Easy and cheap to improve, ideal first classic, or first project.
Reluctant sale, but my son (11yrs) and I got it this far as a joint project for him to build up a bit of cash to go into his Austin 7 project
