I bought lemforder tie rods part number 1209202 019, says they're for 1975 to 1989. Bargain price of £72.
Are these correct for the steering upgrade? I notice on websites that are selling these that they have a large washer with them. Mine don't have this washer. Is it needed? If so what are the dimensions? Where does it fit when installing? Probably over the large thread to space the arm from the rack itself?
Are there any snags to overcome when they're fitted?

You don't need the big thick washer on a 914.
Where did you get them for that price? I need to order some.

Re: 911 turbo tie rods
Thanks for the info.
The price i got them for is a special trade price but is a one off. If you want i'll give my guy a call to see what the best price is available for them.
Perhaps get it even lower for a group buy?

Re: 911 turbo tie rods
I'm changing the rods now but the bellows on the rack are to big for the smaller diameter on the tie rod.
Does anyone know the correct part number for the correct bellows?
