1969 911T coupe - sold

Post by Ants »

I've decided to sell my early 911. It is a 1969 2L LHD 911T, original colour polo red, that I think was imported from California in 2005, and I have owned since 2008. It's fitted with an age correct E engine, with Webber carbs. These were recently rebuilt by Fennlane Motorsport. It has correct 51/2 x 15 Fuchs alloys, and aftermarket sports seats. It runs really well, shifting nicely through the gears, with a smooth clutch.
Recently it passed it's mot, with no advisories. I've driven it about 500 miles since it's mot and it has performed without any issues, so it's all ready to go and be used through the summer. It would benefit from a little bit of body work, however I don't think that's there is anything that is currently essential.
Condition overall is probably best described by an add that I read on Pistonheads "We know that conditions of classic Porsche of this age vary dramatically. This one is not in need of restoration. It is a neat, tidy, genuine driver quality 911 with a lovely patina."

Thanks
Antony
