What is this ? and where does it go ?

Can anyone tell exactly what this piece is off. I stripped it off the car about 2 years ago and can't recall where it goes

Looks like part of the sun roof motor cover, there should be two sections, open the zip in the headliner and they clip ans screw in place.

I think it must have come off a Carrera I stripped and I've got the parts mixed up.
Looking on line then I think this part if for '78 onwards incl 964
