Starter motor

Post by MdR »

('67 Model Year 911S)
I fear I will need a replacement starter motor soon. When the car is hot the starter doesn't respond to turning the key.
My PET program shows a starter motor upto '68 & then 68 on.
Are these interchangable?
Anyone got one for sale?

I have a number of starters here - the 914's use two types (which as far as I can tell are interchangeable with the 911s). According to the Stoddart catalogue, all pre 2.4 911s used the same starter.

If you have a part number, I can see if I can match yours.
