Where to get these parts from--67 car:-

Post by Splitty64 »

Hi All

Struggling to find the following final parts (preferably UK suppliers) to complete my car:-

Front windscreen trim- mine is quite gnarly
Sill décor strip rubber inserts
Rear screen demist foam tubes that sit in the engine bay
Those V shaped clips that sit behind the dashboard to keep it in place

Any leads / suppliers would be great thanks

Items 1 & 2 should be available from the usual parts suppliers - Roger Bray, Type 911, etc (& probably Porsche)

Martyn, when I completed my 912 a few years back, I used Armaflex copper pipe insulation.
At the time it was pretty much identical to the old original tatty ones I had.

I can't remember the size so you would need to research and measure but there are several sources on eBay and it is pretty cheap.

Recommend OPC for the trims if you're buying new, superior fit. I have a used set of chrome trim in fair order if you want used.
