I had purchased a pop-off valve to modify my airbox on my 1974 2.7 engine.
I now realise that my airbox has at some point been updated to include the metal piping from the cold start valve to the inlets.
Does this mean I don't need to retrofit the pop-off valve or do people fit them in addition?
As always any guidance is much appreciated.
Thanks Andrew

Re: Airbox pop-off valve on '74 2.7
I'd install it. No matter what, any lean backfire can pop/crack the box. I'd rather have the peace of mind.
