Hi all
Does anyone know where I can get replacement speakers (upgraded ones) that fit in the original speaker pods (the rectangular ones)?
it'd be nice to hear the stereo on the way to Le Mans and back this summer!
I'd like to keep the look original so want to retain the speaker pods.
Thanks
Ben

Ben
contact these people in Germany:
www.koenigs-klassik.de/indexe.html
I got mine from there and they were almost an exact match to the originals.

Re: Replacement speakers
No idea, haven't fitted them yet. Not really bothered, as the music is under the right foot! I was more interested in getting the right look.
A subjective question anyway as one person may think they're good, and another may not.

Re: Replacement speakers
This gets asked a lot on 914world.
The standard fittings are an unusual dimension, so choices are limited with modern units in terms of plug n play. But there are some you can fit with only a little modification.
Otherwise 914rubber offer screw in speaker pods, which give you greater choice in terms of modern speakers, and end result looks not too bad.
