OK...looking at doing something in the engine department. Since having my 914 I have just been putting fuel in and driving it as often as possible - which is so much fun. I reckon dumping the single carb that I'm running and fitting a twin carb set up on the 1.7 will broaden the smile I have even more!!
Anyone got a twin set up in the shed waiting to be moved on and used by a new 914 enthusiast??
If not please let me know what you run...
Thanks
Twin Carbs

Re: Twin Carbs
My car came from the US with the original 1.7 fitted with twin weber 40s. I sold them on and bought some original fuel injection parts off eBay. ...and is now running great and fuel efficient as a bonus.

Re: Twin Carbs
Get either twin carbs, or FI, but get rid of the single carb!! The change will transform your car

Re: Twin Carbs
Hi there - I have a set of original Italian webers as well as mfi and a good 2.0-4 coming up. Let me know if any are of interest. Everything is still on my car so can be seen/heard running with all invoices.
