Mixing oil?

Post by neilbardsley »

I was surprised to find myself low on oil on Saturday when I decided to go for a drive. I topped up with my normal VR1, which is 20/50, but ran out so decided to look for some more oil as a backup. However I could only find 15/40 at the local garages. I've ordered some of my usual VR1 but just wondering if ok to mix different grades? Google seems to think it's ok.
