Post by neilbardsley »

Would someone be willing to bring to Hedingham Castle on the 6th one or both of these

-> rpm timer that is analogue and not digital so I can can check my meter/gauge?

-> timing light that they are happy works. I tried to set mine over the weekend it it was just all over the place

Many thanks

Try using a separate battery to power the strobe light (out of your Land Rover, for example), makes for a more stable reading.

I will have a good quality timing light with me as part of the demo rig for our CDI+ units. It has an RPM readout on it. Look for the Classic Retrofit banner and the bright green 911 SC.

Thank you Bruce but I'm already using a separate battery since the car is 6v.
