My 914-6 has a 2.5 ltr engine fitted. Engine no. 6120916, can anyone help by telling me what was the original car that it came from?

The engine no. tells you what the original spec was but it could have been upgraded with S cams & had the ports opened up to S specs, etc.
What induction system is installed - still mfi or carbs ?

It has PMO's . I believe its had lots of work, but don't have much paperwork. If you have a 2.5l engine fitted and sorted with PMO's I suspect you are getting more the 160bhp.
