MFI Throttle bodies

Does anybody have a partlist or exploded view of how the TB's are assembled?
Mine have been returned in tupperware boxes so I need to assemble them!

What year? There are two basic designs - very similar but subtle differences.

The later bodies can be tricky as the later throttle shafts are shimmed to set the throttle valve position within the bore and the plastic bushes that maintain the return springs in a central position around the shafts have often disintegrated.

Hi Rich, if you get stuck give me a call. We are in the process of remaking all new throttle bodies and thus have much of the parts in case you get stuck or if a pic may help.

The throttle shafts are individually shimmed to centralise the throttle plates with 0.1mm shims used on some shafts and we have these in stock.

The throttle return springs are centralised using a 'plastic' bush which we are just re-manufacturing and will be available in about a week to 10 days.

Throttle plate screws are a non-standard pitch and difficult to find.

If you have to re-use old screws with the staking removed I would use a 'Blue' Loctite as an alternative.

The lock washers under the 11mm AF throttle shaft nuts are bevelled Schnorr washers.

Also I have 6 of these washers (wavey), are they part of the TB or from something else?

The wave washers I haven't seen before and as you have the Schnorr Washers I would guess are from elsewhere.

The plastic bushing presses onto the 'boss' on the throttle body casting with the flange to the outside and the return spring fits over.

The spring may be backwards I can't quite tell but it hooks onto a very small lug on the casting of the throttle body.
