Silly Door Handle Question

Post by Brewster »

So I'm trying to make sense of all my door furniture. As I didn't remove it I'm a little bit stuck. The pin for the door lock mechanism; does it fit in the small hole in the mechanism in the door or just between the two prongs above the hole. I'm hoping someone knows what I'm on about.

I can get it to fit in the small hole, but then the handle doesn't seem to want to sit right and I'm reluctant to force it. I've checked the Porsche parts catalogue, but it doesn't show the locking mech pin on the handle so I can't work out which way up the handle wants to go.

Many Thanks Nick. It was the fact that the pin fits perfectly in the hole that threw me.

Cheers.
