Being from Rhos on Sea, every year I plan on doing this. And every year, something happens which renders me out.....

So once again, hope you have a good one!

Do you simply drive up and park in the Porsche spot?
Fancy a run into Wales or it will be the French day at Prescott.

Indeed you do!

Marshalls will be on hand (I'll be one of them) to "direct traffic."
And you may fancy a drive around the Great Orme afterwards - fantastic views, with several places to stop and a restaurant too.

Nice to have some variety!
There may well be two 914s on the Prom...

Oh, and a BTW:

The local council do not take kindly to droppings of an automotive nature being left on the Promenade and have asked that owners of cars which might misbehave, bring a drip tray or something similar. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up Arfor. I'll make sure I bring up a nappy for the car. "It's not an oil leak, it's just sweating power" :P

There's a Porsche track day in Anglesey the day before. I wonder if anyone else is up for that? I'm not a pcgb member so not sure if I'd be allowed to play?

Hello Moggy,

You are welcome to take part in the Track Day on the circuit on Anglesey - you don't need to be a club member, but it would be cheaper if you were!

Just give Steve Kevlin (Motorsport Manager) a ring on 01608 652917 and he'll answer all your questions.

If you do turn up at the PCGB Anglesey trackday ( great circuit ) then come and say hi to any of the 964 gang.....I'm in an orange one , mates are in white , green , red etc. We will not be at Llandudno as the cars don't do shows / lack polish.

To drive onto the Prom on Sunday, the only requirement is that your car is a Porsche.

So let's get to see those 964s - with or without a shine! :P

There was a great gathering of cars on Sunday 24th - the official count was 202 cars.

Good to meet moriarty (on here) in his 914/6.

The weather was initially a bit dreary, but from midday it was warm and sunny, with many people on the prom admiring the cars.

Thanks to all for coming.
