Should a LHD (USA) 1970 2.2S be on MFI?

Hi Guys
Should a LHD (USA) 1970 2.2S be on MFI? My car is on carbs and I have always believed MFI was correct for the car, but after seeing a few 2.2S on carbs, I am beginning to wonder?

All 2.2Ss, L or RHD should not be on carbs but MFI. Many US 911s have lost their MFI systems over the years as they seem to be incapable of tuning them properly, so took the easy route by replacing the whole system with carbs. I believe I offered you a complete correct MFI system for your car some time ago? It's still available....

Nick's first line should read:
"All 2.2S, L or RHD, should be on mfi" ...

Is this right ?
I have no book to check but my memory said MFI came in on the 2.0 engine (late) , and stayed on 2.2 , 2.4 and 2.7 (on applicable models) ..... my memory must be wrong !!
ah well ..... back to garage .
