LeMans Classic 2014 - DDK camping package - please register

Been speaking to Brian @ 1st-tickets & Good news, we now have some confirmation on the DDK camping and ticket package .

Depending on the price, I'm hoping well have our own private section, but nothing is set in stone. Great to see after many years of trying we can now offer infield parking and track laps without having to go through Porsche club France

Rather than type some spiel , I've just copied and pasted Brian's email :

A couple of weeks ago we met with Peter Auto and the ACO to discuss our
proposed plans for 2014, including the Le Mans Classic.

We now have confirmation from both parties that we will have:

An 11,000m2 private campsite on Bleu Nord
Public camping on Maison Blanche, Bleu Nord and Beausejour.
Preferential club rates for DDK
A display area on the Bugatti circuit for, initially up to 30 DDK Cars
(separate from main Porsche area)
A limited number of parade laps available for DDK members

The ACO are aiming to confirm our camping allocation by the end of November,
and we are working having our camping package, parking and parade lap prices
available in the next couple of weeks.

So that we can confirm initial club numbers with Peter Auto, I would suggest
that members initially register online with us on the following web page

I can't help thinking that 2014 is going to see a dramatic hike in price resulting in it being the last CLM for a while!

I know what you mean Gary .... Nothing is finalised yet though

2016 might call for a new tact for us old timers

The last CLM was difficult for me as my recent foot operation stopped me walking for any distance or being able to chill properly due the pain.

So I really want this one to go well no matter what it may cost!

I done a few now and the rising cost and crowds are starting to take the edge off the atmosphere. It's still brilliant though.

Hotel, close to the famous circuit of La Sarthe offering 1-bedroom suite accommodation with a closeness to nature like nothing else in the area. Facilities include en-suite power showers, open air privately serviced wc, well stocked mini-bar and its own fine dining restaurant offering serving only locally sourced produce, own car park.
