Make sure you get there early (before
. The last event, Soft Top Sunday, attracted far bigger crowds than Goodwood expected, with the result that some people spent an hour in the traffic queues. The Supercar breakfast is always the most popular, so as long as there is no monsoon (the Ferrari crowd don't like rain) it will be massive.

Hi Paul
I'm planning to go very early with my son. Forecast looks good so I expect it to be busy.
Perhaps see you there.

Re: Supercar Sunday 2nd June - Goodwood Breakfast Club
I would go early, Soft top Sunday was quite stressful to say the least.
With limited number of events this year over last the numbers have really risen.
I would like to think that Lord March's team have noticed this as well this year. To be able to change things for next year.
There is a real issue with how popular this event has become even though it's been running for a very long time. Some of us have earnt out Breakfast Club Badge as we are there in the winter times as well. Where it is really cold on that airfield.
I learnt that with the number of events held there, the breakfast club was alowed by the council. As it's FREE to avoid some council rules. Hence there is no charge. If they charge it changes every thing with the council. So I understand.

Unless the reg has been moved, that's the ex-Giroflex lightweight in which Tony Dron won the championship in late 80s. I was lucky enough to drive it just after it was retired from racing and restored.
It has an interesting history
