BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

Hi to all again

Just dawned on me that I've been a member from Glasgow for nearly a whole year and have never properly introduced myself. Now let my story begin. My lovely husband asked me one day "Kitten what would you like for your 40th birthday? A nice ring? Maybe a lovely watch?" " Let me think about it" was my reply. "What about a new car?" hubba persisted. "Now, that's a great idea" I said. Think he was sorry he asked.

Posted an add on the Porsche Club Great Britain site where Kitchens told me about DDK, even went to a TIPEC meeting where we were introduced to Mike and Brendan whom were giving a talk about their proper barn find...that was me properly hooked. I love the shape, the lines, the smell of these cars and not forgetting that sound from the engine. Just about 2 years later I got my car, my only requirement that I stuck to was RHD. Dragged poor hubba up and down the country looking at 911's. Spent hours on end on the net searching for a car and trying to gain a wee bit of knowledge. Eventually bought mine's from a DDK'r and the rest is history.

Pretty much use Kit (car's name) as my daily driver albeit when I'm not working and can quite easily drive 100 miles per week without trying.
