Last year was excellent, very much recommended
Spend at least 2 days there for sure

Steve Harker and I are booked into same hotel as last year, Thursday and Friday nights, show on Friday and Saturday. Get your days right this time!

I've not booked my flights yet but I'll be attending.
Planning on going out early Friday, taking in the show on Friday & Saturday and then back on a late flight Saturday.
Hopefully there's a room for me on Friday evening at the same hotel as Steve.

Looks like Steve's out, too, as it clashes with him tackling the Mittellegi Ridge of the Eiger in just a stout pair of brogues and a Tweed sport coat....

Either that or he's dog-sitting as Annabel and the kids are buggering off to Turkey for a week.

Now I'm on the right thread (thanks Steve!) can anyone recommend a pleasant hotel please? Somewhere that won't mind me wearing lederhosen through the foyer and slapping thighs and things at 2am preferably

We are staying at the Mercure, but it's not cheap. They get cheaper (but not much) as you get further from the centre.
